| Here's another example of an Alco-Brooks rebuild of an older 2-8-0 Consolidation into a Mikado, delivered as IHB #5455 class G5x. Rebuilt by Brooks into NYCL #4107, a 2-8-2 class H-5p in July 1915 and it would be renumbered to NYC #1595 in August 1936, solf for scrap in March 1952. No information was listed for this photo so an arbitrary date and location were used. |
