Reading bridge  Contributor's Pick!
Rockville was the best known, but not the only bridge over the Susquehanna at Harrisburg. The line to Hagerstown MD was part Reading Lurgan Branch, and part PRR Hagerstown Branch. This 146 car ENRO, a run through to NS and Roanoke, originated at Enola, did the grand tour of the capital, then went south on this ex Reading line, crossing the ex PRR Rockville Bridge, then back on this ex Reading bridge, reaching it via a connection at CP Capital, where the ex PRR connected with the Reading from Rutherford yard, then out of service.
