Within a week or so, the LIRR managed to get the electric lines cleared enough to run MU trains again, and resume some semblance of service. Thus its off to work, the commuters plodding through the snow to get to the platform and onto the train. This run is headed by one of the LIRRs double deckers, one of the more interesting pieces of rolling stock in the NY area. |
