| CN through freight approaches Towmen Rd. and the turnout for which this location is named as it head northeast via former SOO rails at Shawano Junction in the Town of Menasha, WI on 6 Mar. '16. When the train hits the turnout it will transition over to the C&NW rails. This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW mainline through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout was installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails. |
