Auto-Train 4006
Auto-Train U36B 4006 was on an eastbound train at the foot of the Huey P. Long Bridge. It was with three Louisville & Nashville units and was on its way from the Espee's Avondale Yard to the L&N's Gentilly Yard. Auto-Train 4005-4009 were built in December 1972 and were leased to the L&N for several months, until they were needed by Auto-Train for its new service out of Louisville. While on lease, they were regularly used on the south end of the railroad. (approximate month, slide dated February 1973)
