| Agnes. Here is an original photo that I took of Penn Central Railroad property in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 24 June 1972. Shown here is the usually busy ~ but now strangely silent ~ sanding tower, just West of the 17th Street Bridge in Juniata. Almost all rail traffic has been halted in the wake of Hurricane Agnes. The Juniata E&M Shop is visible in the distance. |
