Here is page two of a three-page article entitled "Farewell to Steam." It was published originally in the July-August 1960 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 2. Top Left-Hand Photo: Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6170, a J-1 (2-10-4) "Texas" built in Juniata during September of 1944 and retired in April of 1958. Bottom Right-Hand Photo: Shown here is PRR engine #9097, an FS-10 switcher built by Fairbanks-Morse during November of 1949 and rated at 1,000 horsepower. It's shifting a soon-to-be-scrapped "Texas" locomotive.
