PRR Sunnyside Yard, #2 of 2, 1965
Sunnyside Yard. Here is the second of two original photos that I took while riding a Long Island Rail Road train from Penn Station, New York, to the World's Fair during August of 1965. Shown here in Sunnyside Yard are numerous passenger cars and two electric locomotives built in Juniata: a B-1 (0-C-0) switcher on the left and on the right GG-1 #4919 (2-C-C-2) built during July of 1942 and rated at 4,620 horsepower.
