| Built by EMD in December of 1946 as #52A, this unit was later renumbered to 65A and finally 111. According to the info on the original negative, this was taken in Chicago, IL but it's an identical location to another marked Hammond, IN - can anyone comfirm this location, possibly based on whether Hammond had these long switch lever rods to the right? The photo was made from an original negative taken by an unknown Chicago photographer. |
