CO 2-8-2 #1177 - Chesapeake & Ohio  Contributor's Pick!       
Well used Alco-Richmond built 2-8-2 Mikado sits in an unknown yard. The unit is approaching its demise as the class was scrapped in the early 1950's. Specs - K-2 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 358,000 lb, tractive effort of 63,467 lb. Unknown photographer.
