PRR 0-4-0 #855 - Pennsylvania RR  Contributor's Pick!
Cute little 0-4-0 yard switcher with the slope tender in action at the Philadelphia yard. Built by the Juniata Shops in November of 1917, the little workhorse lasted until retirement in October of 1948. This model reminds me of the Lionel switcher #1656 with the ringing tender bell. Newer model #94 looks even closer to the actual loco. Unknown photographer and date is approximate.

Alan Fricker General Check out that smokstack-looks like it's a pice of pipe from something else adapted to a smokestack. Class A switcher, and a nice shiny bell. 2/11/2017 9:12:31 AM
Jim Ford General Lovely little thing. This was my first HO engine. 2/12/2017 3:56:57 PM
