Squeeze under  Contributor's Pick!
The last mile or so up to the tunnel is a long curve as the tracks gain elevation from Moototwn Rd to the tunnel entrance. In so doing, they pass over Tunnel Road via this old stone bridge. Its narrow, and visibility is quite limited, making a mad chase here a bit of a challenge, as the road zig zags under the tracks. For most northbounds, its not a big deal-even slowing for the bridge doesnt hurt your chase when the train is only making 15 MPH. Train 413s leader passes overhead as I look up. Ill beat him the last 1/2 mile to the tunnel with no problem.
