| Nice example of the 1905 Alco-Richmond built 4-6-2 Pacific caught her at East St Louis, IL, yard by an unknown photographer. Specs - class P, 72 1/2" drivers, 22 psi boiler pressure, 22x28" cylinders, engine weight of 219,500 lb, tractive effort of 34,955 lb. Later the class was superheated and larger cylinders installed. All in the class were retired by 1951. |
