Top Illustration: Depicted here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1063, a D-11A (4-4-0) "American" built in Altoona during 1883 and retired in November of 1905. Bottom Photo: Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #700, an E-1 (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata during 1899 and later sold to the Long Island Rail Road in December of 1903.
