Crane Train Display
The crane, built in 1954, is one of the few pieces of rolling stock left from B&M/MEC subsidiary Portland Terminal Company, which once operated trackage and yards around the city of Portland, ME. The MEC gondola was constructed in 1939 and wears a similar paint scheme to the B&M SW-1 at the head of the display train. Both pieces of equipment were constructed at a time when B&M and MEC had joint management.
