PRR Wreck at Kladder Station, #4 of 4, 1926         
Here is the fourth of four photos of the wreck that took place at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Kladder Station ~ located between Roaring Spring and Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania ~ on 4 March 1926. It was included in the "Altoona Area Railroad Pictorial History" edited by Linda White and published in 1996 by The Altoona Mirror, page 17. Partial Caption: "A locomotive lies along the tracks after it crashed into the Kladder Station when its passenger train derailed at the crossing on March 4, 1926." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3001, an E-3SD (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata as an E-3S during 1906, rebuilt as an E-3SD in November of 1917, and sold in March of 1935.
