PRR 3747, K-4S, 1955         
Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Sea Girt, New Jersey, in July of 1955. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3747, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1920 and retired in November of 1957 after 37 years of faithful service. Note the trainman stationed between the second and third coaches, waiting for the last passengers to embark/disembark.
