| NYC 19144 was built by the New York Central in 1910. After the Penn Central merger on Thursday February 1, 1968 this caboose spent many years as a hot dog stand on Erie Blvd East in DeWitt, NY. The caboose was saved from scrapped and was donated to the Central New York Chapter N.R.H.S. on Sunday August 17, 1986. |
