NP 4-8-4 #2607 - Northern Pacific         
Here's a long and strong example of an Alco-Schenectady 4-8-4 built for the Northern Pacific in December of 1926. Specs - class A, serial #67019, 73" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 418,000 lb, tractive effort of 57,511 lb. Eventually converted to oil burners in the late 1940"s. The loco was scrapped at the South Tacoma, WA, shops on 6/24/1953. The photo date is approximate. No photographer listed for the photo.
