PRR 1535, EF-15A, 1967         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Dennison, Ohio, on 19 April 1967. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #1535, #3549, and #3562. All are EF-15A's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #1535: built as "9876-A" in September of 1952, renumbered "1535" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger, and retired in October of 1967. #3549: built as "9798-B" in March of 1951, renumbered "3549" for the merger, and retired in December of 1967. #3562: built as "9876-B" in September of 1952 and renumbered "3562" for the merger.
