| Beautiful example of a Lima built 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive for the Soo as their #5001. Only four were built and sadly, all four were scrapped in December of 1954. Specs - serial #7754, class O-20 75" drivers, 26 x 32 cylinders, a 270 psi boiler pressure, a weight of 445,550 pounds and had a tractive effort of 66,000 pounds. Arthur B. Johnson photo |
