"Progress In Transportation: 1963," Pages 9 & 10         
Here are pages nine and ten of a 22-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Serving You Through Progress In Transportation." It was issued originally in December of 1963. Lower Left-Hand Photo Caption: "Modern and more powerful diesel locomotives are highly efficient in hauling heavy freight trains at sustained speeds." Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2509, #2508, and another unit whose number is not recorded. All are GF-25's built by General Electric in September of 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each.
