| The last locomotives purchased by the Illinois Central before it was acquired by the Canadian National were SD70’s 1020-1039, which were assembled by Super Steel Schenectady in early 1999. Here was the 1028 at Baton Rouge in 2002 in its original paint job. The CN added yellow frame stripes in 2006. |
