Portraits 2. Here is a diesel locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, on 9 February 1967. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6500, a GF-25A built by General Electric in April of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. It's the first unit of its Class purchased by the PRR.
