| Former Santa Fe café-observation car 1511 was parked along 5th Street at Chicon Street in Austin, Texas along with former Central of Georgia lunch counter-diner-lounge car 690. The 1511 was lettered TEXAS TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM and was one of five cars that had been built by the Pullman Car & Manufacturing Co. in 1926 as ATSF 1508-1512. The Santa Fe had donated the 1511 to the TTM and it was subsequently loaned to the Texas State Railroad for continued operation. |
