Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 9 August 1964. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7609, an ES-17M road switcher built by GM-EMD in December of 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. Visible at the right is PRR N-5 cabin car #477812. A small portion of the right-flowing Susquehanna River is visible in the middle distance. |
