| Built by the Burnham, Wms & Co Locomotive Works in September of 1903, it originally carried the number MILW #943 but was renumbered to 3015 in 1912 and eventually after this photo renumbered MILW 29. Original specs - serial #22751, class A1, 78" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, Vauclain compoumd with 22x26" & 13x26" cylinders, engine weight of 140,700 lb, modest tractive effort of 14,196 lb. The loco was finally scrapped in November of 1939. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo so approximates were used. |
