PRR at Seabrook, #2 of 3, c. 1953
Here is the second of three successive original photos by Douglas C. Jones that were taken in Seabrook, Maryland, c. 1953. Passing under three-track Signal Bridge #1246 is the tail end of a Baltimore-bound Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train that's departing after having collected mail and discharged/boarded passengers. At the far left, laborers unload a boxcar filled with freshly-cut lumber. At the far right, Gandy Dancers wait patiently for the train to clear their work area.
