Tom Beckett General Nice shot of a Raritan train. He's coming off the formr LV(the truss bridge in the background is the LV main leading to Oak Island yard), on which it ran for a short distance through Roselle Park. West of there, it came off the former Jersey Central at a place called Aldene, created in 1967 when the CNJ trains were routed into Newark Penn Station. Aldene is east of Cranford on the CNJ. The coaches are gone now; the GP40P is still with us, several rebuilds later. 2/12/2022 4:18:30 AM
