| I believe that is Howard Schrader himself admiring his beautiful locomotive. Unfortunately the railroad was shut down in October 2017 after the Schraders' decided to retired. A new buyer purchased the business and property in 2019. However, because of a design flaw and insect damage to the trestles the new owners delayed reopening of the railroad to the Summer of 2021. Unfortunately an illness in the family and the economic effects of COVID led to the new owners ultimately selling the trains and permanently closing the railroad. |
