GM&O Box Car 51309         
Gulf, Mobile & Ohio 40-foot, 50-ton wood-sheathed box car 51309 was on the Louisville & Nashville-Mississippi Export interchange at Pascagoula, Mississippi on 2 July 1958. The car had a CAPY of 100,000 pounds, a LD LMT of 122,200 pounds and a Lt WT of 46,800 pounds, for a gross rail load of 169,000 pounds, and it was lettered FISH MEAL LOADING. GM&O cars 51000-51499 were built for the Chicago & Alton by Pullman-Standard under Lot 5756 in January 1944, and had wood sheathing because of steel rationing during World War II.
