MILW 2-8-2 #616 - Milwaukee Road         
Steaming in the cold February air is 2-8-2 Mikado #616. The loco was originally built as CM&StP #1852 (serial #51431) in June of 1912 by Alco-Brooks but renumbered in 1938 to CMStP&P 616, The loco lasted in service until being sold in September of 1949. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 277,800 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. An unknown photographer took this photo.
