SLSF 2-8-0 #1213 - St Louis - San Francisco         
Great early view of the Frisco oil buring 2-8-0 Consolidation #1213 while it was still polished and wearing the silver nose paint scheme. Built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) in March of 1907, it served until being scrapped in December of 1951. Specs - oil burner, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine weight of 198,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,300 lb. Arthur B. Johnson photo
