CR E8A 4020 - Conrail "OCS" - Office Car Special
This is a beautiful misty morning action shot along the Beaver River of the Conrail "OCS" - Office Car Special - known to others as the CR President's trian, CR business train, CR sales/marketing train, or CR inspection train. The CR dispatchers used the generic "OCS" call for any of these. Conrail conductor Ken Taylor was able to catch it passing by. The date is based on the slide stamp which may not be accurate.

Gavin Thunberg General This is an awesome picture from my hometown of the Bayard. I would guess they were going to Mingo Junction Ohio. Do you have anymore of this train on the Bayard? I could help you identify the locations. 3/6/2023 1:10:40 PM
