PRR 7136, B-6S, 1938
Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the 59th Street Yard in Chicago, Illinois, on 18 August 1938. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7136, a B-6S (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata as a B-6 during March of 1912, rebuilt as a B-6S in June of 1927, and retired in February of 1952 after 40 years of faithful service. Note the Fireman on the tender's coal bunker, replenishing the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" Gary Mittner Collection.
