CSXT'S S&NA South Sub Editors Pick!
CSXT Ballast Train A00604 dumping ballast on the new double track CSXT is building between Parkwood & Graces, Al. This ballast train was delivered to the CSXT all the way from Wisconsin, quite a rare find for Alabama to see these WSOR units working in the deep south, but particularly rare that they are old SD20'S. Definitely one of the rarest finds I've ever seen in the south.

Kenny Ravenscroft General Great Picture!!! Especially from being up here in Wisconsin. I didn't realize that the WSOR delivered and worked the ballast trains for the other railroads. 2/17/2007 2:20:23 PM
william davis General Thanks Ken, It seems that WSOR has an agreement with CSXT about the WSOR delivering ballast to CSXT & they just keep the WSOR power on the train to its destination. I hope WSOR keeps sending their beautifully painted locomotives down here. The double tracking project between Parkwood & Graces is supposed to be finished sometime this summer, so maybe WSOR will send another ballast train my way with the WSOR power still on it of course. 2/17/2007 4:21:25 PM
