| The new bridge is being built inside (on the creek side) of the old single track bridge. Because there is no way to bring in barges loaded with equipment as they did when the single bridge was built, the contractor is building a road or dike across the creek next to the new bridge. I'm assuming the dike will be removed upon completion. |
