My friend Mark and I followed this unit as it made its local switching rounds, we ate lunch with the regular crew many times. This was before either of us had drivers licenses so it was all on mountain bikes. The 1201 used to have double flash amber Tomar strobes, one on each side. You can still see the mounts on the roof for the lights. Really made the diesel stand out in the early morning shadows.
