Dan Learn General Yeah, I guess CN painting over the IC units is almost as bad as having IC management take over and pillage CN (heavy sarcasm there). 10/20/2007 6:26:32 AM
Zach Pumphery General IC still beats the hell out of CN. 10/30/2007 12:14:48 AM
Chuck Zeiler General Nicknamed "Little Obie", IC 1914 stands 5 1/2 tall and weighs about 4,000 pounds. "Little Obie" is actually a John Deere 'Gator' all-terrain vehicle regularly used in the IC shops at Memphis, but fitted with a special shell. "Little Obie" comes complete with it's own intermodal trailer on flatcar which is actually a trailer used to transport the engine to and from events. The trailer can be used as a float on which children can ride during parades. Recently added to the train was a brand new red caboose sporting the Illinois Central logo on one side and the Chicago Central logo on the other. Both side also feature the Operation Lifesaver logo.
