UP 2295 2-8-2 is on display at the historic Union Pacific Depot         
This is a American Locomotive Company, Brooks Works engine built June 1920. It has 62 inch drivers. It was used to haul freight between Cheyenne and Laramie WY. It was the last steam between Pocatello and Boise ID. The engine was donated by UP to the City of Boise in 1959 and provided to Idaho State Historic Society in 1978. It was in a City park until moved over the weekend of December 8, 2007. Landscaping and other work is still in progress.
