NS 9435 leads a string of loaded autoracks from the GM Plant in Wentzville, Mo. Currently heading east through St. Peters, Mo., soon the train will enter Luther Yard.

A typical gloomy Tier day finds 123 platforms of 205 rolling west at Miller Beach Rd in Owego behind the usual NS widecabs.

A northbound coal train rolls past the old Jennison Station at Bainbridge. This power plant was an on and off D&H customer, getting most of its coal by truck. If I recall, it was closed by this date in 2001, after NYSEG sold its generating capacity(another NY State inspired boondoggle), and older, less efficient plants were shut down. This train will go to the B&M at Mohawk, and eventually on to Massachusetts.
