"Yellow G" block signal, relay cabinets, and hot box detector at Lake Pleasant, which is about 5 miles east of East Deerfield on the Fitchburg route.
The west end switcher pulls a cut of ballast hoppers out of the "crusher", a quarry located next to the loop track in East Deerfield.

POME's power comes out of the pit to tie on to it's train and head west. The 1709, the west end switcher, stands by.
POME "get's out of town" just ahead of the setting sun. Tried this in Grayscale first, then thought, wonder what Sepia would look like?
Unusual to see all this first gen power on POSP, normally had GP-38's and/or 40's.
The 1749 was the last unit of the B&M's 50 GP-9's.
Of the B&M's 6 GP-18's, the 1755 was the only one with the "standard" 48" cooling fans, the rest had 36" fans from trade-in units.
