I pulled out my cell phone just in time to see CSX Q627-24 crossing over Lemoyne Ave in Syracuse, NY. Not one of my best pictures. But worth posting it because of the locomotives. This train has 408 axles! The lead locomotive is CSXT 509.

I was driving to work Monday morning when I saw CSX K615-24 parked right next to the parking lot for VFW Post 3146 parking lot on the intersection of Factory Ave and Lemoyne Ave in Syracuse. The time was 8AM. This train has 524 axles.

On the way to work, I see a Sperry Rail Service doodlebug tied down next to VFW Post 3146. This is the same doodlebug that I saw at the CSX DeWitt Yard 89 days ago!
On the way home from work, I see CSX M364-21 crossing over Lemoyne Ave. I missed the locomotives at the head end. However, I was lucky enough to see a mid train distributive power unit lashup. This train has 846 axles!

On Sunday December 4, 2022 Amtrak 48 "Lake Shore Limited" had a Norfolk Southern leader. A computer failure on AMTK 129 somewhere around Elkhart, IN during the night and not only lost power but also the ability to control AMTK 111. Norfolk Southern provided a rescue locomotive which was doing most of the work with AMTK 111 providing head end power for the train. The train is seen passing through CP 293 on the CSX Syracuse Terminal Subdivision.
CSX X627-25 tied down in Syracuse, New York for Christmas and the blizzard in Buffalo, New York. The train departed Syracuse, New York after dark the following day. 340 axles.
