North of Racine
Car 100.
A 1-car shuttle ran between Mundelien and North Chicago mid-weekdays and weekends. Multi-car trains ran to and from Chicago during the commurter rush.
Details please folks. Why did it sit around there for years? Were they hoping to save it? Did it serve Southern Illinois Coal Power Plants? Coal mines? Looks in relatively good shape. Not quite even spacing in wheels. A gem. No? Gone?

There are two trains in the 3-track station and you can see the empty 2-track lower yard at the right.
