Used rail awaiting its fate, May be they should put some of this pn the team track!
Like many class ones of today, Cabs, hacks, or what ever you want to call them can still be found on the main line. But not used in the way we would like to see. It's still good to catch a "shoving platform" now and then. This former BN cab was bringing up the rear of a rail train in the house track at Eagle Nest N.D. while a coal train passes behind.

This is Custer country and BNSF runs there trains in an class one fashion to keep up with the demands of presant day, For get about history. An East bound Z train passes by Custer Ave. at the west end of Fryburg siding.
This HOT east bound Z train passes an empty hopper at Fryburg. With passing of the Z man, The hopper train got a warent to Dickinson.
An east bound empty Herzog train heading for another load passes through the Bad Lands. The trains were dumping on the Headinger Sub out of Terry Mt. Running west as a loaded train to the Forsyth Sub via Glendive, The trains would go to Terry and run around to acsess the Headinger Sub. A west bound Forsyth Sub train can not get on the Headinger Sub with out making a run around move.
With the east end of Antelope lined for a movement into the siding for a meet with an east bound coal train, The conductor climbs back on too the drafty comforts of his 30 year old SD40-2.
How about an east bound loadwith nose light at 19:00. Antelope and the way the tracks run will help when a good east bound shows up in the eavning!

MIke getting set up to film tie next east bound. He was in a rush due to the fact he was sitting there thinking this train had H2s for power untill he heard the track warent being given to an Oakway. I was all ready set up waiting"to film and shoot what ever came.
