An east bound empty Herzog train heading for another load passes through the Bad Lands. The trains were dumping on the Headinger Sub out of Terry Mt. Running west as a loaded train to the Forsyth Sub via Glendive, The trains would go to Terry and run around to acsess the Headinger Sub. A west bound Forsyth Sub train can not get on the Headinger Sub with out making a run around move.

AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR PHOTO, DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS PART OF ND IS BEAUTIFUL. JUST AN OUTSTANDING SHOT!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Terrific photo!
This may be a railroad name here, But it is in the Delorm Atlas.
Great shot in a scenic part of ND, unfortunately not Ryder. I've been to the Ryder, Makoti, Max, Garrison area of ND, and this definitely ain't it! Nice picture, though!
Nice angle.
Nice power + wonderful location = great shot
Very good location, Good Shot.
in Ward County, ND. Topography maps show such a locale about six miles west of Medora, ND on the BNSF with the photo likely taken about two miles further west.
Great photo except I believe it was taken near Rider in Golden Valley County, ND, not Ryder
