Visits to the Badger State's far western boundary, and a little bit beyond. The BNSF ex-BN, ex-ex CB&Q line which runs north-south in Wisconsin is actually part of an east-west Chicago-Twin Cities mainline. It is one of the busiest rail lines in southern Wisconsin with about 40 daily trains.
A lashup of pure BN Green Geeps on a westbound.
This consist was pure HII Dash 9s.
This grade crossing near the old CB&Q depot is the only one left in town with 8" incandescent signal lights.
No name, at least not on the conductor's side.
View from the porch of the Isle of Capri resort hotel built high on the side of a river bluff. All three tracks of the Marquette Wye are visible, as well as the Highway 18 bridge.
At the scrapyard on Jones Street. From what I was told these cars went into the drink (Mississippi River).
Just got done working a local to the north of here.
I shoot every GTW, IC and WC engine I have the chance to now before they get the CaNoodle treatment.
Dodge St. bridge in the background.
Actually the second train we saw today, only got video of the first one (also EB pigs led by a Dash 9).
Didn't see any leading today, though. :-(
H-GALSUP per captions from other railfans who were out this day and posted photos here on RRPA.
Unit ethanol train with a widecab Dash 8 trailing.

I saw a total of six westbounds on my way south from La Crosse, completely missed the first three before getting just video of two more and then this one.
