While at the Hammond South Shore station, I heard a train on the CSX lile just south so steppeg over to catch whatever it was. To my surprise, it was an NS heritage unit, #8105, trailing the first two!

K040-06 rips west through Woodbourne just after 830 PM with BNSF C44-9W 5492 leading NS ES44AC 8033 and NS ES44AC 8105, the Interstate heritage unit.

K040-06 chugs west onto the single main at CP Wood with a BNSF C44-9W, NS ES44AC and the Interstate heritage unit.

After several lengthy delays during the nice and sunny daylight hours, empty crude oil train K041-11 finally starts to put some miles behind it as it heads west. We see it approaching CP173 on CSX's Mohawk-sub at 20:02.
