After hastily making my way west in hopes of catching up to the bonnets, I eventually ended up with this golden hour shot west of Wellington.
The prized fakebonnet duo gets blocked by the Q-SBDCHI. Had I been at my usual spot a mile away, they wouldn’t have gotten blocked. Things would work out in the end, though!

Nope - still not making progress with this darn Sony poor-excuse-for-a-camera... if anyone from Sony would like to contact me, Id be happy to discuss things and let them prove to me Im doing something wrong - because my partially broken Canon SX260 is still out-shooting the Sony hands down for image quality). Power shuffle headed north and away from the lens... sniff.
