Built by EMD in 1947 originally as Chicago Great Western F3A #101C (serial #4118) but fell onto the CNW roster after the CGW/CNW merger in 1968. The loco was finally retired in 1985 and traded to EMD who sent it to the St Louois Auto Shredding Company as scrap. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now part of my collection.

All were built by GM-EMD. #2273 is an EF-25 built in May of 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower; #2223 is an EF-22 built in April of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower.
